Hi All,
I know that I am a bit late with the official post, we have been busy getting ready for James arrival. I do not tend to take the tend to write everything that we are feeling and everything that we are going through, most of what is happening currently is a monster amount of waiting. It is depressing, frustrating and tedious. Most days, we check the email to see if there has been a new update or some information to find that we have not learned anything as of yet.
The best news is that we are out of PGN and waiting on the next couple steps to occur. First we have to send for James Birth Certificate (BC) and then we petition for a second DNA testing. Couple the two documents to the final sign off by the birth mother and you have all we need to enter the US Embassy (USE) in Guatemala City for final document preparation etc.
The steps are closer in average time duration than the previous PGN timing. Look to see further updates a bit closer together - og course with the ever popular qualifier - Good Lord Willing!
In the coming weeks, we will be in a craze gathering needed items for our pickup trip, discussing the ever changing emotions of my wife - should I fly or not, and generally hanging on to the email news that we have come to love reading. We have learned so much about the process and met some very good people over the internet in chat sites etc. we have felt joy and pain for the many people that are going through this process with us.
I will post more as we move forward for all that are reading this! Thank you to all who have supported us and kept us on your minds.
